CERTIFICATE III in COMMERCIAL COOKERY
This qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks who use a wide range of cookery skills. They use discretion and judgement and have a sound knowledge of kitchen operations. They work with some independence and under limited supervision and may provide operational advice and support to team members. This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway. Entry Level.

CERTIFICATE IV in COMMERCIAL COOKERY
This qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems. This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway. Management Level.

CERTIFICATE IV in HOSPITALITY 
This qualification reflects the role of skilled operatorswho use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with a sound knowledge of industry operations. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non routine problems. Many individuals have supervisory responsibilities and plan, monitor and evaluate the work of team members. This is suitable for an Industry Professional to gain recognition.

DIPLOMA of HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT  

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent as a manager in any hospitality functional area. This individual would possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and be able to use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of their team. Work would be undertaken in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, catering operations, motels, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops.
